Stage 3 tuning is the top tier of ECU calibration work. At this level, the engine’s internals, fuelling system, and forced induction components have typically been upgraded to handle substantially higher outputs than the standard drivetrain was designed for. The ECU map is developed around this hardware specification.
Common Stage 3 requirements include uprated fuel injectors, a larger turbocharger or supercharger, an uprated fuel pump, and in many cases strengthened internals. This is performance building at its most serious — and the calibration work reflects that. Maps are developed with precision, often requiring multiple dyno sessions to refine safely.

How many dyno sessions does Stage 3 require?
At least two, often more. Getting a Stage 3 map right takes time and data — we don't rush calibration work at this level.
Is Stage 3 suitable for road use?
Some Stage 3 builds are road-registered; others are track-only. We'll discuss intended use as part of the assessment.
Do you carry out the hardware modifications?
