Once your car’s standard intake and exhaust components become the limiting factor, Stage 2 is the next step. This level of tuning works alongside hardware modifications — typically an uprated intercooler, performance exhaust, or sports catalyst — allowing the ECU calibration to push safely beyond what Stage 1 can achieve on standard parts.
The result is a more substantial increase in power and torque, with improved charge air temperatures and better combustion efficiency. Stage 2 is popular with drivers who’ve already completed Stage 1 and want to continue developing their car, or those starting a build with a clear performance target in mind.
We assess your car’s current specification before recommending or proceeding with Stage 2, ensuring the calibration is matched correctly to the hardware you have fitted.

Yes. The car runs on its existing map until the new calibration is written. We'll coordinate timing to suit you.
Does Stage 2 affect reliability?
When the hardware and map are properly matched, reliability is not compromised. We don't tune beyond safe limits for the engine's internals.
