Ford Transit Connect AdBlue Repair
Ford Transit Connect in for an AdBlue repair, and back up and running.
A working van is a different kind of urgent
When the vehicle with the fault is the one that earns, the clock works differently. A day off the road is a day of jobs moved, customers rescheduled and money not made, so the priority is getting it sorted rather than getting it booked in for next week.
That is a large part of why we work mobile. The van does not have to be driven anywhere, which is just as well when an AdBlue fault has already stopped it from starting.
Diagnosing rather than guessing
AdBlue faults are one of the most common reasons we get called out to commercial vehicles, and they are also one of the easiest to get wrong. The code names a circuit, not a failed part.
Replacing the component the code mentions is how owners end up buying two or three parts and still having the fault. Reading live data while the system actually runs is what points at the real cause.
What the system is doing
AdBlue exists to keep exhaust emissions within legal limits, and the vehicle protects that function deliberately. A reported fault produces a warning, then a countdown, then a refusal to restart.
Caught early it is a straightforward job. Left until the countdown expires, the van is going nowhere under its own power.
If your van is showing a warning
Get it looked at before the countdown does the deciding for you.

Frequently asked
How quickly do you get to a van that will not start?
Tell us where it is and what it is doing and we will give you a realistic answer rather than a hopeful one. We are mobile across the South West, so the van does not need to be recovered anywhere first.
Should I just clear the code myself?
Clearing a code removes the symptom, not the cause, and it will come back. Worse, it removes the freeze-frame data that helps work out what actually went wrong.
Do you work on vans of any make?
Yes, any make and model. Diagnostics and repair work sits alongside the tuning side of what we do.
